Research shows that most young adults wished they knew more about their career options
before diving into the real world. Having a clearer understanding of how the world works can
impact anybody young and old when it comes to making important decisions regarding their
life, job and careers. After all, the term knowledge is power is prevalent in every aspect of our
daily lives.
With that understanding, what brings about true lessons and understanding? Experience!
And how do we get experience? Let us put it like this, in order to know how to swim, you have
to get into the water. In order to know your limits in the pool, you need to explore deeper, and
only then, overtime, will you know your true capabilities as a swimmer.
But why wait until your’ child is 18, or why make them wait till that time? Our main goals as
parents and teachers are to be able to give our children the opportunities we couldn’t get or
missed as kids ourselves. And this is why here at PLC we have created the inaugural Career Build Summer Camp 2023.
The first of its kind in Qatar!
What is the Career-Build Summer Camp about?
Little kids have an innate curiosity about the world. This camp will aid nurture this trait by helping them to
explore careers that make the world go round. We want to be able to expose our students to a wide variety of
experiences and skills at a young age that would give them a better understanding of the world around them.
Camp Out comes?
Each day, students will be exposed to a different career component, and will learn through, music, art and
science. As a result, they will be able to:
Assess – Children will be able to assess their strengths and work on their weaknesses, through language,
speech, and understanding the topics presented.
Engage – Children will be able to work in teams, to work on their team-player skills, as well as be given the
opportunity be group leaders that see them work on their leadership skills; and
Execute – Each day they will be able to execute their lesson through art, science and math. At the end of
every week, they will be placed in a real-world situation as a final outcome, with a trip to KidZania.
What is included in the price?
- All learning materials
- 2 meals per day, late breakfast, lunch and snacks

- All weekly out door trips – KidZania and Qatar Museums
Camp Duration
The camp is broken into 2 cycles
Each cycle will run for 20 days, with sessions happening 5 days a week. With kids spending 6 hours per day at
our Centre. At the end of each week, we will be doing a career outing based on the career focus of that week.

The summer holidays is a time for kids to have fun, discover a new world and experience something
different. In addition, it is a time to make new friends and create relationships that inspire kids to take
on the world.
